Our radiologists are specially trained to perform and interpret many imaging modalities taken of all parts of the body. Modalities include standard X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, Nuclear Medicine and MRI. At Imaging Consultants of South Florida (ICSF), our radiologists are Board-Certified by the American College of Radiology as well as subspecialty boards such as Neuroradiology, Pediatrics, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology.
Interventional radiologists diagnose and many times treat a variety of medical disorders without surgery. These procedures can sometimes be used to reach areas of the body inaccessible by other means, offering innovative and life-saving treatment. Procedures performed by interventional radiologists are generally less costly and cause less discomfort for our patients, and require shorter hospital stays than many alternatives.
